Pick up, shipping and returns

Option 1: Shipping within Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany

Standard rates

  • Belgium: €1.95 to €6.95 – free shipping on orders over €100
  • Netherlands: €2.95 to €8.95 – free shipping on orders over €150
  • Germany and France: €2.95 to €13.95 – free shipping from €200

The rate depends on the size, weight and the chosen shipping option.

Shipping schedule

  • Ordered before 11am on Monday = shipped on Tuesday
  • Ordered before 11am on Tuesday = shipped on Wednesday
  • Ordered before 11am on Wednesday = shipped on Thursday
  • Ordered before 11am on Thursday = shipped on Friday
  • Ordered before midnight on Friday = shipped on Monday
  • Ordered on Saturday and Sunday = shipped on Tuesday

Orders are not shipped or processed on holidays. Delivery will be delayed by one business day.

Parcel post with track & trace

Orders shipped by parcel post (track & trace) are generally delivered the next business day after shipment in Belgium and the Netherlands. Packages to Germany and France take two business days to arrive, subject to any delays at DPD.

Standard delivery takes place Monday through Friday. However, you can also choose Saturday delivery at checkout for an additional fee.

As soon as the driver is on his way with your package, you will receive an email with the estimated delivery time.

Letterbox post without track & trace

If your order is small in size and weight, it can be sent by letterbox post.

Orders sent by letterbox post (without track & trace) are usually delivered within 3 working days of dispatch, except for any delays at local postal distributors.

  • In Belgium, letterbox post is delivered from Monday to Friday (bpost).
  • In the Netherlands, letterbox post is delivered from Tuesday to Saturday (PostNL).
  • In France and Germany, letterbox mail is delivered from Monday to Saturday by La Poste and Deutsche Post.

Delays

The delivery times above are indicative. We can always guarantee on-time shipment, but we use external carriers such as DPD, PostNL, bpost, La Poste, and Deutsche Post to transport your package. While 90% of packages are delivered according to the schedule above, occasional delays are always possible. We cannot be held responsible for these and recommend ordering well in advance or choosing pickup.

Exceptions

Large orders over €150 may have a longer processing time. Please contact us for an estimated delivery time.

Glassware

Our range includes many fragile items. Although we package them securely (including inside any gift boxes), accidents can still happen. Therefore, please check your order upon receipt and report any damage within 24 hours. After that, we cannot be held responsible for damaged glassware.

Undelivered or damaged packages

If you haven't received your order within 7 business days of shipping, please contact us.

If your package is marked as delivered according to the track & trace information, but you haven't received it, we can initiate an investigation with DPD. First, check that the package hasn't been delivered to a neighbor, in a safe place, or in your mailbox.

  • Packages that are not delivered or are damaged due to a carrier error will be resent at our expense.

  • Packages that could not be delivered due to a customer error will only be reshipped upon request and at the customer's expense (once we receive them back). If you wish to cancel your order for this reason, the shipping costs for the first attempt will not be refunded. Personalized items are never refunded. Therefore, always carefully check your shipping information and collect packages promptly from the collection point.

If you haven't picked up a package on time, we'll receive a return invoice from DPD for the return costs. These costs will be charged to you.

If you receive a damaged package, please immediately take photos of the inside and outside of the package, including the shipping label, and send them to us. This way, we can file a claim with the carrier and send you new products free of charge.

Option 2: Pick up by appointment in Ekeren near Antwerp (free)

If you order before 11:00 AM, you can generally expect your order to be ready for collection the next business day. Large orders over €150 may have a longer processing time. Please contact us for an estimated delivery time.

We do not process orders on Saturdays and Sundays and collection is not possible.

We are not a physical store, only a pickup point. Pickups are by appointment only for women, as the female manager handles the handover one-on-one. We urge you to respect this, both out of courtesy and due to Islamic regulations.

Pickup times are within normal business hours. On certain days, we offer evening pickups until 8:00 PM.

Orders must be collected within 14 days.

Pickup times vary weekly and are communicated along with the address in the pickup notification. This notification is sent via WhatsApp or SMS, as emails often end up in spam. Therefore, always provide a correct phone number with your order.

Urgent orders

Depending on the size of your order, the processing time, and our logistics capabilities, we may sometimes make an extra trip to the post office or prepare your order for collection over the weekend.

The additional cost for an urgent order is 20% of the order amount + any additional shipping costs (e.g. Saturday delivery).

Rush orders are created manually and must be paid via a payment request.

Returns

Islam Inspired makes every effort to describe and depict its products as clearly as possible, so you won't encounter any surprises upon receipt. If a product doesn't meet your expectations, you can return it within 14 business days of receipt.

Once the product is received unused and undamaged, we will refund the purchase price. This does not apply to personalized items, which are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We are happy to help you choose the most economical return option and, if desired, create a return label for you.

Do you need to order urgently, return items, report damage, or report an undelivered order? Email us with your order number at info@islaminspired.com or send us a message via WhatsApp (icon at the bottom right of the screen).

Personalized items

Personalized items are non-refundable, and once the order is placed, it cannot be canceled or changed. Why? Orders are usually put into production immediately, meaning material and labor time cannot be recouped.

Personalised items include: items printed with names, your own text and/or a colour of your choice (via the colour picker).

Cancel

If your order has not yet been shipped, you can cancel it (except for personalized items).
You'll receive a shipping confirmation once your order is on its way. If you cancel afterward, our return policy applies.

Want to give one of our products as a gift to someone who lives far away? Let us ship the gift directly and save on shipping costs.

How do you have a gift sent?

  • Enter the recipient's name and address in the delivery details.
  • Enter your own details in the invoice details.
  • Please use your own email address and telephone number for contact details.
  • Please indicate in the notes field that it is a gift – we will then not include a packing slip.
  • Want to surprise multiple people? Place a separate order for each recipient.

If the recipient is not home, the package will be delivered to a neighbor, a safe place, or a collection point, depending on their preference. Please notify the recipient yourself if this happens.

Tip: Add a greeting card with a personal message to your order so the recipient knows who it's from. You'll also need to add any gift wrapping yourself.
